I've teamed up with my neighbor and together we utilize our garages to fabricate these MG TF glove box doors from solid walnut and oak hardwood boards. Each door is individually cut and shaped. The pieces are stained, then multiple coats of spar urethane are applied to achieve a high gloss finish. No veneer layers, or fillers of any kind, are used in the process.
My goal always is to ship each order in a timely manner. Each door set is totally labor-intensive and requires 5 days of processing and curing. Then it's ready to ship. I maintain a small inventory of finished doors, but if it is going to be more than a week before your order will ship, I will alert you by email as to when it will ship. I appreciate your cooperation if this circumstance ever occurs. Thank you!
This year I'm celebrating 52 years of proud British car ownership. I started in 1968 with the purchase of a 1964 Triumph TR4A. Next was a new 1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster. Since then I've owned 50+ British cars comprised of multiple Jaguars, Triumphs, Austin Healeys and MG's. Today I'm the proud owner of a fully restored 1954 MG TF 1500 and a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace.
